(I don’t know why, but I enjoy reading Duncan quietly slipping in references to situations that bothered him 25 years ago, all the more-so when there’s vanishingly little chance that anyone involved will ever read him mention it.)
I enjoyed how raw this was. I once cried at the episode of pokemon where meowth and pikachu bond while being stuck up a tree and my brother called me gay. There was about a 5-10 year stretch where I didn’t cry at all (not just linked to that). Humans can get on each other about the weirdest stuff in harmful ways.
