It’s been said before that, to first approximation, everyone here is Ravenclaw. But you might say that the second term in my Taylor polynomial is Hufflepuff. I have a habit of seeking out contrarian clusters before taking my contrarian beliefs seriously.
I’m fairly certain I’m an even mix of Ravenclaw and Slytherin. I tend to agree with Quirrel’s logic on occasion, and I do wish to know, but I believe the best way to ensure the best possible world for all is to move into a position of power. This is because I honestly believe I could do better than current incumbents in that position, but it is still a result at least in part of my own ambition.
As much as this is a joke, it would be interesting to see if LWers fell into any obvious groupings based on their motives for wanting to be here.

Your choice of metaphor wildly confirming that you are primarily Ravenclaw, of course.
I guess that makes me more Ravenclaw than Ravenclaw.
Genius.
It has also been said that to a first approximation everyone here (at the Rationality Boot Camp) is a Hufflepuff. (I deny it!)
