If it became a particularly common practice I expect those industries would find their way in. But it certainly isn’t the idea. The freedom itself is its own kind of power and the real motivation.
I don’t understand the rationale behind seasteading.
Basically, the idea is to make market-entry for sovereign powers easier. That will hopefully trigger a new wave of innovation in governments.
Authority pisses some people off. It’s a way to tell authority to fuck off.
