Interesting ideas! I’m wondering how you determine what a reasonable “size” of a chunk should be? An obvious one could be a chapter in a textbook—but that can often contain a lot of information (perhaps too much)?
That’s a harder question, and I have no confident answers yet. I don’t think you’d ideally want to measure chunks by word count. It’s something about how many linked concepts you have to understand to get it. Or maybe how easy it is to synthesize them. Or maybe on how well-developed your memory skills are?
Clearly though, there is a chunk size that’s too small (imagine if you just had to read one sentence of your textbook per day) and a size that’s too big (read an entire textbook in a day).
