It’s something about how many linked concepts you have to understand to get it. Or maybe how easy it is to synthesize them. Or maybe on how well-developed your memory skills are?
Clearly though, there is a chunk size that’s too small (imagine if you just had to read one sentence of your textbook per day) and a size that’s too big (read an entire textbook in a day).
