I disagree. Reality is self-correlated, and many facts can lead to the same conclusion, which different people weigh differently. Also, there may have been many updates to your prior which led you to a belief, all of which are important. FINDING the crux takes work and trying out different dimensions of evidence. Your crux may well be different from your partner’s.
There may be some contexts where you have to compress your reasons for your beliefs in order to save time or conversational bandwidth. That’s fine, but depending on the dialog you may want to go deeper than the single best reason for a belief.
