Personally, I want to be able to trust the community of people I work with.
Would it be good to somehow be able to trust the entire community? Yeah, I guess. But unless X karma is very high, I strongly predict that codes would be entered. I do not think we can trust—or should realistically expect to be able to trust—so many people. Many people have posted over the years. Probably, some high karma long-time users are no longer aligned with community goals and would enjoy watching the post-launch drama.

I mean, yes, but don’t be too sure that’s due to value-drift on the users’ part rather than “the community.”
