For the first time in something like forever there will be a rationality meetup in Tel Aviv, Israel. It’ll be a great chance to meet your fellow LWers from Israel.
We will be joined by very special guest Cat from CFAR who will talk about Goal Clarification—a useful technique for increasing productivity.

Wow, I’ve been hoping for this for a while now. :)
I really, really hope I’ll be able to attend, and if I do, I can give up to two people a ride from Jerusalem. Unfortunately, I have a test that same day, and I do not yet know the time at which it will take place, so I can’t RSVP quite yet.

We now have a location: Maze 9, Tel Aviv.
There is a nearby parking lot Balfour 6 (Big, close and somewhat expensive) Or if you’d rather not enter the center of town, there is a big, cheap parking lot at Harakevet 20 thats really easy to get to from out of town and is a 10 minute walk away.
(please pardon the complete digression)
So, I first parsed this as the English word “maze”, which amused me enormously.
I then applied context and reparsed it as the Hebrew phrase “mah zeh?” which amused me even more.
I had the exact same reaction, except the other way ’round. :D
(Also, the street i apparently written “Mazeh”, despite being an acronym.)
