Partially related to halo effect I guess. I mean, when applied to others, halo effect means upvoting or downvoting (I love this metaphor!) the whole person instead of their specific traits.
But here we are not discussing (fixed) traits, but specific actions, so probably fundamental attribution error is also somehow involved.
