Can anyone think of a natural order for the different kinds of validity?
I reckon that would be critical to even getting started on this question.
Remember, as the homepage says, rationality isn’t about ‘being able to answer any question’.
The important kinds of validity are:
discriminant validity
nomological validity
content validity
criterion validity
construct validity
face validity
If the seven deadly sins are a particular useful construct, I’d hypothesise that they could be mapped to the research domain criteria matrix. The same could be said about constructs like ‘rationality’.
