It took me several months before I discovered that not everything in Main shows up when you click on “Main”—you need to first click on “Main” and then click on “New”. It took me even longer before I figured out that there’s an RSS feed for Main / New so I could find out when something gets added there.
For me, at least, anything in Main that wasn’t also promoted had almost no visibility for several months. Which is a pity because a lot of the best stuff goes there.
