I am following standard practice. I have only weakly considered the relevant norm, and agree that it’s not pure good.
If the “legal issue” is what I think it is, then having a post about it here at LW is just worthless gossiping. Just because it might involve the real-world “rationality community” in some tangential way doesn’t mean it has a place on this site. Many people here don’t even care about what MIRI or CFAR might be working on!
