Fair enough, my apologies (removed that part). Thought it kind of fit with the argument of the article, but yes it’s annoying and click-baity. In terms of the article itself, I guess I thought it fit with LW in proposing a way to think about finding new ideas and discussing an ethical issue with potential scientific solutions.
There may be aspects where rationality can improve our response to such horrors and reduce the prevalence and impact of these crimes. There may even be ways we can help reform and improve the lives of criminals. If that’s your motive, I wish you the best. But I don’t think LessWrong is the place for it (with possible exception of quite abstracted with examples that have weaker visceral reaction), and I don’t know where the right place is.
In fact, I’d recommend deleting the post, or editing it to have a placeholder that states why you removed it without including any keywords that reveal the content.

Thx. Downvote removed.
I’ll add that the story at the top of the post is really thought-provoking, I’m glad I read that.
I think, aside from the click-bait style, the topic is one that takes INCREDIBLE care and nuance to discuss rationally, and it risks attracting the wrong kind of attention to have it in searchable forums. https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/9weLK2AJ9JEt2Tt8f/politics-is-the-mind-killer, and this is even more so.

A topic like this needs a lot of nuance and care to get posts about it right. Doing annoying and click-baity things is the opposite of being careful.
