This week we’ll be coming in from the cold to discuss the content of a “Clearer Thinking with Spencer Greenberg” podcast episode featuring Sara Ness, who is probably best known for being the driving force behind the popularity of Authentic Relating.
“What are the “relating” languages? What strategies do we use when interacting with each other under various conditions? How does one formulate a new taxonomy in a field? What information can we glean from our own emotional and physical reactions? What is authenticity? What are the strengths and weaknesses of various personality typologies?”
You can listen to the episode here: https://clearerthinkingpodcast.com/?ep=068 or on spotify, or other podcast hubs. If you don’t have time for the whole thing, the first half hour where they cover *what the relating languages are* will be the most crucial to our discussion. Try to nail down some of your own “styles” that you gravitate towards under different circumstances.
Meet at the Bank & Gloucester Royal Oak, our reservation is for 6:30pm under Theresa (hopefully in the room at the back, but not yet confirmed), so you’re welcome to join me in having dinner there as well if you’d like!
