I would think these studies are looking at early in the pandemic patients (perhaps wrong to think that) so just wonder if there is any control over the treatment of the patients in the early days that might have biased the results at all?
Quite possibly- the frequency of intubation certainly went down over time, and my overall impression is we’ve gotten better at treating covid over time.
