Mostly my current anti-akrasia tricks center around:
Eliminating distractions, which in a lot of the cases mainly means eliminating Internet access.
Trying to make myself feel happier. I notice that I have lot less akrasia if I’m feeling happy. Being happier doesn’t always actually get me to do things, but often it does at least eliminate procrastination in the sense of doing something in order to avoid doing something else and feeling guilty about it all the time. I still don’t do whatever I’m supposed to be doing, but I don’t feel guilty about that, either. As a result, I can actually manage to relax and get the thing done later on when I’m more rested.
