maybe some interesting ideas buried under a lot of hard to read text, much of which is restatement of what other people have said. reads like I wrote it. needs more formatting. would be better as a comment on the other post. greatly appreciate you making this post. you should feel proud of yourself for it and take the disagreement I’ve expressed as approval. I’ve upvoted you because you were at −3, but I wouldn’t upvote past zero at this time, because I see upvotes above zero as an indicator of how valuable the thing is to someone else, and downvotes below zero as an indicator of how much the person shouldn’t have wasted people’s time. this is around a −1 worthy post at worst, imo. great job for posting it and please do so again, may my eagerness to say what I think not be read as disapproval of your presence.
ah, I misused a react because there wasn’t a “we already covered this” button. The person who in my opinion had already covered that paragraph about remaining moves is Thane.
More generally I have the sense that folks here in general have written similar things to much of this, and so the difficulty for me in making use of this post is isolating what new insight you’re communicating. What I’d do is take one paragraph at a time of your post and dump them into https://search.metaphor.systems/ and see what comes up. (Metaphor’s design is much better suited to this than most other search engines, I don’t know of another that would allow this same use style.) I might also filter to only allow lesswrong.com or greaterwrong.com links in the results.
my “reads like I wrote it” is a comment that I also have an overly dense, overly repetitive style, and so I come to you with critiques that are often applicable to me as well ;P

Thanks. Can you link me to where you wrote similar things?

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, people really seem to dislike it
