Having a high IQ does not equate to having a good idiot detector.
Also, policies which treat people differently based on a self-serving distinction need more justification than normal, because of the increased prior that the person making the policy is affected by an ulterior motive.

I’m of opinion that the process of detecting idiots is heavily g-loaded.
