Okay, let it be known that I learned my lesson about vague, uninformative one-word comments. I liked the post/article and wanted to express it stronger than an upvote, but couldn’t think of anything else to say at the time.
I’ve posted similar things in the past without the receiving the wallop I did today. I don’t consider the wallop unreasonable, but I don’t think it’s a particularly clear norm either.

It seems that you ended up getting 18 points for your vague uninformative one-word comment. I’ll have to try that some time.
It helped that I followed it up with a five page article about a massive undertaking.
Think harder next time. Upvoted for learning your lesson.
