This is largely based on the exact dynamics of the LTFF, where there tends to be a lot of negotiation going on, and because there is a very clear way in which everything is about distributing money which I think makes a scenario like “Caleb rejects me on the EAIF, therefore I recommend fewer things to orgs he thinks are good on the LTFF” a kind of threat that seems hard to rule out.
