I think one fundamental confusion was that your description of a Hufflepuff Trap… didn’t match my conception of what a Hufflepuff Trap would mean (it seemed like any ambitious person regardless of approach/methodology could get caught by that thing, and it didn’t have anything I think of as specific-to-Hufflepuff). This, plus a higher ratio of (unique-jargon : normal-words) made it hard for the essay to hang together.
