I think the problem could be solved by adding a quip by Gamma at the end asking for help or input if Omega ever happens to step out of the Machine for awhile.
To do this effectively it would require a few touchups to the specifics of the Machine...
But anyway. I like trying to fix plot holes. They are good challenges.
Psychohistorian initially changed the story so that Gamma was waiting for his own machine to be delivered. He changed it back, so I guess he doesn’t see a problem with it.

It could simply be that Gamma simply hasn’t saved up enough credits yet.
