There is too much focus on the spine when discussing posture in my opinion. Our vertebrae are there to protect the spinal cord, they are not a stack of blocks that keep us upright. Working with the right muscles—the main muscles of movement - will position the spine correctly.
Focusing on Base-Line (pelvic floor and rectus abdominis—the body’s ‘core pillar’ of strength) is key to developing an awareness of the body’s position, motion and balance, increasing consciousness of our sense of proprioception which facilitates self-assessment and improvement of posture.
I now know what a “good posture” is. I can feel it.
Our physical posture is created by muscles.
