This is a late follow-up. I didn’t get around to do fasting for quite some time, but did it for one week in January 2017. There is a write-up on FB. It was interesting but didn’t change my behavior (or weight) noticably. More interesting was the social dimension: The discussions around it led a skeptic friend to look into fasting regimes and try intermittent fasting. And he still does and it has measurable positive effects and apparently practically no downsides.
