What I’ve done for Newcomb problems is that I’ve precommitted to one boxing, but then I’ve paid a friend to follow me at all times. Just before I chose the boxes, he is to perform complicated neurosurgery to turn me into a two boxer. That way I maximize my gain.
Better wipe my memory of getting my friend to follow me then.
Also, I have built a second Omega, and given it to others. They are instructed to two box if 2 Omega predicts 1 Omega thinks they’ll one box, and visa versa.
Or think about it, then take two boxes.
Either way, you decide how much money you get, and the contents of the boxes are your fault.

That’s clever, but of course it won’t work. Omega can predict the outcome of neurosurgery.

.. and that costs less than $1000?
If I am predestined, nope, not my fault. In fact, in the full determinism case I’m not sure there’s “me” at all.
But anyway, how about that—you introduce me to Omega first, and I’ll think about his two boxes afterwards...
