Hi, everyone ! I’m new here. I only had a short time on the site but I think Lesswrong could be great for discussing some things I have interest for (especially because you really respond to each other, wich is not easy on the net I guess !)
I am a French philosophy teacher, and I thought I could write one or some little essay(s) about philosophy climax and teaching in my country. I hope to show that it is useful to think about empiric assertions and poetic ones, about taking seriously philosophy or not, and about differences between France / Britain and US, and so on. (In resumé I think it questions the philosophy / science relashionship in many ways.)
I wonder if I may (A) do a little post on one part of the subject (like 1500-3000 words) and plan or announce for another posts later if it creates discussion, (B) fly over all subjects that interest me in it and quest for discussion about them with everyone who wants (like 1500-3000 words maybe), (C) do a longer post (like maybe 6000-9000 words, I dont know) more complete ?
I don’t find in subjects in LW a pattern about that, and I may write about something people are not familiar with at all (at first view), so I want my post to be all clear and useful, with the best form.
What do you think ? Thank you !
Looking forward for participating in discovering the world with you all.
Oh, yes, climate, sorry. My english is like a messy guy.
