I just listened to a great talk by Nick Bostrom I’d managed to miss before now which mentions some considerations in favor and opposed to voting. He does this to illustrate a general trend that in certain domains it’s easy to come across knock-down arguments (“crucial considerations”) that invalidate or at least strongly counter previous knock-down arguments.
