Good question. As Portia says, I didn’t. The whole point of this is to not use willpower, so restricting calories when you feel like eating goes against that. I didn’t measure, but I’m willing to bet that how it works is that this diet makes me eat fewer calories without actively trying to eat fewer calories. What I tracked, was only things which were “easy” to track, for example how many meals (light, medium, heavy), how many “snacks”, etc. Super imprecise measurements, what was really superizing in the end is despite that, how high and R^2 I could get on my linear model next day (or next few days) weight prediction.
