It occurred to me that although I agree with Statement #5 - “People are morally responsible for the opportunity costs of their actions,” I do not think it is a claim actually being made by the optimal philanthropy zeitgeist. I think the actual claim is “Your actions have opportunity costs and you should probably think about that,” which should be uncontroversial.
