I’d like to second the second question. Should I be worried about the 3 day camp attempting to cram in too many useful techniques or the week long camp having filler?
The week-long camp will not have filler. At the minicamp, there were exercises that I suspected weren’t useful—the “rationalizing game” stands out in my mind—but probably a bigger problem was trying to pack so many things into a week’s span. I definitely had the feeling that I needed to be taking good notes, because I couldn’t possibly absorb everything in the various sessions during those sessions.

They ran our camp for 10 weeks or so. Sure, some of that was filler. But they have enough there for at least a week.

That’s great to hear. On the other extreme, could I get enough out of a three day retreat to bootstrap future learning?
