I’m suspicious of everything Paul Krugman says. I believe him to be MoreWrong on nearly every subject, and also, probably a sociopath. Doug Casey has him pegged right, as totally intellectually dishonest, …a total charlatan.
He has done at least once in the fairly recent past in regards to academic research that’s in line with his predispositions. He writes so many blog posts that it’s hard to find the link.

That’s as may be—but is the quote a bad heuristic or a good one?
It’s a good heuristic, now if only Krugman would actually follow it.
