Great post overall, but I’m skeptical of this often-repeated element in OB posts and comments. I’m not sure honest believers always, or even usually, have a persuasion advantage. This reminds me of some of Michael Vassar’s criticism of nerds thinking of everyone else as a defective nerd (nerd defined as people who value truth-telling/sincerity over more political/tactful forms of communication.
