South Bay Casual Group Walk

Join us for a group walk through the Baylands Nature Preserve in Palo Alto. At the beginning, we’ll decide if we want to walk the boardwalks (3ish miles, lots of birds) or to Byxbee Park (5ish miles, conceptual art sculptures).

The walking pace will be casual and relaxed. If you’re reading this, you and any friends are welcome to join.

Meeting at 2pm

• We will start walking at 2:15pm. If you are running late or want to meet up with us later on, please let me know ([e-mail]).

• No exact end time, probably around 5pm. We may grab dinner afterwards. IKEA is 2.4 mi away😏

Location: Baylands Nature Preserve
2500 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303

• We’ll be meeting in the outdoor picnic tables, located northeast of the nature center (see image below)

• Free parking is located in the lot right next to the tables

Bring a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. The walk will not be shaded. I’ll have a few extra water bottles in case you forget.
