I’ve never heard of $lo{g}_{1/2}$ before and I’m having difficulty looking it up. Is it distinct from $2^n$, or $-lo{g}_2\left(n\right)$?

Edit: No, it’s equivalent to $-log$, but this is only confirmed later in the post. Okay, where does this obscuritan “$nlog$” notation come from?
