I’ve posted similar things in the past without the receiving the wallop I did today. I don’t consider the wallop unreasonable, but I don’t think it’s a particularly clear norm either.
It seems that you ended up getting 18 points for your vague uninformative one-word comment. I’ll have to try that some time.
It helped that I followed it up with a five page article about a massive undertaking.
