>We’re now back to our regular schedule. Newspeak House isn’t available, so this month we’ll either be in the park if the weather is good, or (I think more likely) the pub if it’s not. The park will be Lincoln’s Inn Fields, near Holborn station; the pub will be the Shakespeare’s Head, also near Holborn station. (There’s also a Shakespeare’s Head that isn’t near Holborn. It’s not that one.)

>This week, rather than a reading list we have a general discussion topic: “how useful is rationalism, actually?” This is something I have a decent amount of uncertainty about. My current thinking is we’ll give everyone who wants a few minutes to give their initial thoughts on the subject before discussing in earnest, and we’ll start that around 3. I’ll be there from around 2.

We’re not at Newspeak House for this event. Sorry for the mix up. It’s going to be at either Lincoln Inns Fields (weather dependent) or the Shakespeare’s Head, both of which are near Holborn tube station. Please see the Facebook post for more details.
The weather’s pretty decent, so at least to start with we’ll be in the park. Northwest quadrant. I have a piece of paper as a sign.
