Once a upon a time, (some of) our ancestors were slaves in Egypt. They escaped. But the journey towards freedom is long. There are some people who are still literal slaves, and in many ways we are slaves to cognitive biases and other things that still constrain us. So, we come together, in a gathering modeled on a traditional Jewish seder, to will eat food, tell stories, and celebrate freedom.
You are encouraged to bring food that is either Kosher, or gloriously flagrantly unkosher, but unleavened either way.
Everyone is welcome at Seder! Whether you’ve been coming for years or you have no idea what’s going on but think it sounds cool.
