I have a particular interest in the interplay between political science and artificial intelligence. My focus is less on safety—more on implementation/use-case. I have especially focused on education and decision-making more broad and in the context of the Global South (ex Khan Academy use of AI for personal tutoring), but I am open for any inputs and ideas as I am in a very early phase (I begin in January).
The idea is not to be blinded by quick or conventional ideas, but to gain an understanding on WHY a certain focus could be impactful—and use this unique opportunity to dive-in to a topic as a first step towards an impactful “career” further on.
